Resident Evil
Alice - she's just too perfect for this movie.

It was all exciting & horrifying, plus kinda disgusting here and there, but I still love it.
Resident Evil has never been disappointing, but honestly ...

2 hands weren't enough.
I wish I had borrowed hubby's to cover my ears,
but I think he's dying in need of 'em too !!!

The ending was seriously *speechless*.
It left me nothing but desperately wanting for more !!!
I could be sleepless tonight

Btw, the new actresses were very pretty & lovely, too - tho, Jill had more stunts

Happy Mooncake Festival
one little, two little, three little lanterns, four little, five little, six little...

Had a wonderful mooncake festival this year with hubby and a bunch of funny friends.
It's steamboat for dinner, "ta bao" from the shabu-shabu restaurant around Yakin and it actually tasted far nicer than the first time i tried it out at the outlet with hubby few months ago. After the steamboat, me & hubby went buying paper lanterns for all of us. We got lucky cause one of the shop was still open at around 10 p.m. We lighted all our paper lanterns, and getting ready for a stroll around the residential area at Senadin.

It was totally fun, everyone was enjoying themselves.
Sing a lil', and laughed so loud like nobody else cares.

Bumped into many different gangs along the way and it was really warmth to feel that the whole residential area is livened up, celebrating the mid-autumn season. All of us were like so close, and we hardly even knew each other 1 year ago, and now we're walking and talking and chatting together. That feels wonderful ~

Well, I couldn't join them for another stroll around Curtin Village as it was getting a lil' late and I've got a morning class to catch tomorrow. It's relaxing, taking a break from all those endless assignments & mid-terms, spending time with hubby and a few friends. Not to mention, green tea mooncake - my favourites!!! It makes me feel more refreshing now, and hopefully it will smoothened things down here a lil'.

It's a great night, and i hope the same goes out to everyone.

Guess what happen on Saturday?
I skipped revision for my last marketing chapter to join hubby at Nikko for some humongous lunch !!!

It was 11.30 a.m. then, and the exam was on 2.30 p.m.
And, to tell you the truth - I was reminiscing every single dishes we had that afternoon when I was suppose to really focusing on doing my damn 30 questions within 1 hour. In the end, I got so fed up that I left the room 30 minutes earlier cause I really needed to go WC. And no, don't misunderstand, it was not because of the food, the food was del.ili.cious. It's just that I drank too much green tea and I just needed to pee.

Btw, hubby brought me to his club's mooncake festival celebration at Curtin late that night, he told me there was a buffet. I came back, got all bitten up by mosquitoes. I think the mosquitoes had a better buffet than I did

If it were not for the persuasion of hubby,
I would have seriously miss out something this special
Am definitely not into Jay, but I cried at the very end of the story.

If you had watched the movie, I guessed you'd probably know what I mean when I said that "they made me look so much like a light-bulb" even when am not technically 'in' the movie. I had goosebumps whenever they started to talk 'love languages'. But, this movie was special, in a way that I couldn't really expressed. You have to really watch it to feel what am feeling. It's nice, and unexpectable

it's been an endless month ...

Feeling kinda exhausted right at this moment.
Been planning and thinking about all the stuffs to deal with the following weeks, hoping much that I can get enough sleep in between else, am in desperate need of a much stronger concealer for my dark eye circles.

Just came back celebrating hubby's friend - cute cute's & Samson's birthday @ Esplanade.
Couldn't join them for dinner and Tanjong Seafood cause I was having an interview with my tutor at San Frans for discussion on my managerial accounting group presentation, which is set in another two weeks to come. Me, Mil & Vero has yet to land our hands on the preparation for the presentation, which is kind of a scary thing to do because it's been a culture in Curtin that accounting teachers are generally hard-to-impress

Some more, one of my seniors just told me today that, the highest passing rate for the particular presentation last semester under Anba (my acc lec) was 8.5 out of 15. My mind sorta froze at that figure a moment, and then slowly came back to reality. That was a very stingy mark indeed !!!

And honestly, no matter how hard i tried to convince myself not to recall, I did poorly for my managerial accounting mid-semester paper today. I did not expect much from only a day of revision, but what happened today, the questions that have been set, made me think that, it clearly does not matter how many times you flipped through that 800 plus pages textbook, the thing is you have no idea where to find the answer. And the lecturer is so smart and "free" that he switched and changed the order of our questions and made it into different versions of exam papers, just to make sure that we did not cheat. The calculation part was alright, I think God just came and helped me 2 minutes before the exam hours ended. All the resolutions seemed to strike me at the very end of the exam. This was scary and well, lucky.

My Economics mid-term paper was okay. Just that I do not understand why lecturers love so much about playing around with flowery english sentences. We've had enough from Critical Thinking & Research Writing & Effective Communication during foundation, and I think they still do not feel comfortable with our english. I think they need some re-affirmative courses for underestimating our abilities

So, that means I've had 2 mid-terms down and 2 more to go next week for laws and marketing. I hate to mention about what happened during my supposed-ly laws exam last thursday, but I think that Arriffin (my law lec) did mention that MAS airline was too expensive so the papers need to be escorted using Air Asia, which was delayed most of the time. And so, we'll have laws exam next week. Bekchek. Else, I should have 1 or 2 days more for my managerial accounting revisions. And it probably won't end up so miserable after then

Assignments are piled up beside me while am typing away.
2 more wirtten assignments, 2 more presentations plus the early-mentioned laws and marketing exams, and am officially a free woman - NO - not until finals !!!

Well basically, it'll just be a long long September for me & am dying to get them done and over with.
Saying all this made me feel kinda blue, but 3 months' non-stop studies and assignments and exams in exchange for 3 months long long holidays, what's not worth it? Btw, Me & Mil were thinking of taking up 1 or 2 summer courses this coming holiday, will further consult our lecturers concerning that matters.

The media just couldn't get enough coverage of Britney Spears screwing up her opening act during the Las Vegas MTV Video Music Awards, don't they? The news were just everywhere. I have absolutely no comments about that, but come to think about it, she's already a mother of two, just don't be too critical about the her "out-of-shape" body yea. Well honestly, I don't even think my body has a shape anyway

Btw, was over-thrilled when I was told that the new R.E will be showing in cinema real soon !!! "Resident Evil: Extinction" - official site

Everyone's asleep.
Am goobling, every single alphabets from my law books.
It feels so lonely a while ago, but I think the midnight drizzle brought me comforts.

Am counting the days, 'til I'll have no books on my table, no assignments,
& of course, no exams to scream for ...

Hubby says, it's gonna be soon.
Am getting married, at 26,
27 or... erm 23 ? whichever it is, am anticipating.
